First off, thanks to David Brain of Edelman fame for highlighting this one.

This rather funny social media parody was created to promote advertising space within Dagens Industri – allegedly the most profitable daily newspaper in Sweden. Now I’m really not sure that the end line of “Still the most effective way to reach your audience” rings true. After all it’s hosted on YouTube and has become almost viral in it’s popularity rise. Which is ironic for a parody of those campaign mash-ups that agencies often love to create.

I’m not doubting that print is still very effective, but the point is less about the medium, and more about creating relevance for your target audience.
